I saw him at the Hull game struggling on crutches with his leg in a brace. It doesn't look good for him and I would be amazed if he makes a full recovery.

Naturally I wish him all the best.

Will another opertation push his return to March or April in 2012 or will that still be between November 2011 and February 2012?

Does not look like he will be back in 2011. I just hope that he does make a full recovery. Th eclub seem quite optimistic about that with Malky saying he will have a decade left on his career

Our midfield looks pedestrian without him. Knee injuries can be career-threatening so I really hope he can pull through.

Ditto to all the sentiments expressed above. I wonder what, if anything, the club and fans could actually do to help his frame of mind? Any suggestions?

I mean, if this happened to my wife, it would be the little things that she would appreciate - like making sure she had a chair to sit on whilst she did the dishes, or a tall trolley to balance the clothes on whilst she hung them out to dry - that sort of thing.

But what do you do for a bloke?:emoticon-0112-wonde

NOrway, don't mention knees please, I am still waiting for the results from x-rays taken almost 2 weeks ago now! Don't you just love the MOD?

Maybe he should start an open university course or start studying for his coaching badges!
