Why would any prem/championship striker even contemplate moving on loan to a side 91st in the football league? Are you that deluded, maybe a fringe league 1 player at best.

There are plenty of Championship strikers not getting games that would come to Rovers. Some Championship teams have 7 strikers in their squads, it's impossible to play them all, so they get loaned out. It makes sens to the parent club as their wage bill is temporarily reduced, the player stays match fit and can be recalled if required. I would have thought that was obvious. It's irrelevant where a League 2 team are in the table.

Have a good break CJ. Lets hope while you are lapping up the sunshine MM delivers the goods and nets the players he is determined to bring in. IMO he is a coach with a typically stubborn personality who knows what he wants and is thick skinned enough to put up with all of the critical flack until he achieves his own aims. Sometimes things dont go to plan and subsequently everything appears to take too long. I have faith that he knows what he is doing and we will start to climb the table pretty soon. PS. It would help if he could persuade our lads to stop shooting straight at the goal keeper!
