Seen a transfer rumour twitter account has been linking Cody with Brighton... Not sure there is much truth in it but I guess we could use the money to resign Payne
I can see why another attempt at the championship would be an alluring proposition but I think he is keen to stay put. A striker that scores goals is worth their weight in gold and I can't imagine Brighton would be emptying their deep coffers for Cody.
Someone asked Cody on his Facebook if there was any truth,and Cody said no.I think the Twitter page has just picked a random player and club out.Cody is a good player at league one level,but Brighton would probably be looking at a younger proven Striker for the Championship.
