Could we ask for more, having the leagues top scorer and having the league top assister.

    Championship Top Scorers

    Player--------------------------Club--------TOTAL
    Ross McCormack---------Leeds United-----9
    Richard Lambert ---------Southampton-----9
    Chris Wood---------------Birmingham-------7
    Charlie Austin------------Burnley------------6
    Kevin Phillips-------------Blackpool----------5

    Championship Top Assists

    Player--------------------Club----------TOTAL
    Robert Snodgrass-----Leeds United-----8
    MatthewTaylor--------West Ham Utd----6
    Ben Davies-------------Derby County-----5
    Adam Lallana----------Southampton-----5
    Frazer Richardson-----Southampton-----4

And Ross Mcormack also has 2 assists. What a player he is.

McCormack's really done well. I can't stop watching that goal, if Rooney had scored that Sky Sports would be scheduling an hour long special about it.

Totally agree Simon be wax lyricalled for the next 2 seasons - Such a talent blah blah shame he is also a petulant little sh1t who can't control himself and acts like a child - don't take him to Euro's is my call but hey so disillusioned with England not that bothered either way. Sorry back to topic.

It seems we have struck Gold on the McCormack front and now have 3 really good different types of forward and with Somma again another type of striker its all good atm.
Plus with Pugh in we are balanced and can now defend down the left and not expose our young full back all the time and Connelly on the right we can let Snoddy play his natural game plus coming back to full fitness you can see he is a different player.

I'm not going to let myself get carried away as we all have seen the false dawns in previous years but for today GET IN THERE

Why don't Ireland claim McCormack so he can help their Euro 2012 campaign?

    Twice as good as Rooney's.

McCormack flicks it up for himself after a sublime pass and loops it over the keeper after a deft turn.

Rooney shins it in from a cross.

I know which one I prefer! Think I'll go watch those BBC highlights again.

He doesn't qualify having played for Scotland you see. we'll get there hopefully and with modest expectations when we get there unlike the bullshit expectations being dished out by the English media towards their team. Skys latest nonsense is Rooney won't be available until the knockout stages of the Euros, of course just assuming they will be there. We all know how this will end as usual

I've watched it about 20 times... does that make me a bit sad?

I don't abandon my country whenever they don't play well.

    ....what can i say...

Its not that im abandoning my country its just everything surrounding england for a good 10-15 years has always been a dissapointment. I still want them to win but i wont get up at 3:00 in the morning on a workday to watch england draw to montenegro or something but i wouldnt even hesitate to do that for leeds. I guess i've always been club over country.

I'm definitely club over country aswell, but I just don't get the people who say they don't care about England after a few bad performances.

McCormack has scored more, considering Lambert has scored at least 2 pens

Cardiff turned down a £3m bid from us for McCormack in 2009, it seems a very long time ago now.

Do you expect the odd club to be sniffing around in January? (when I say the odd club, I probably just mean Leicester) :emoticon-0112-wonde

Rooney gets lucky with an awkward ball. McCormack controls an awkward ball and puts it right where he wants it before smashing it home. Definitely a better quality strike but he'll never get the same publicity. ****ing media darlings.
