Ross McCormack is warming up to come on for Scotland. The Scots are 2-1 up against Australia and Snoddy has started the game. McCormack has come on for Rhodes, who scored a cracking goal for Scotland. SCORES: 3-1 to Scotland, McCormack SCORES. That's another £1m to his value. Edit: Game ended 3-1 to Scotland, the best team on the night. Rhodes was MOM and McCormack did well. McCormack's ninth game for Scotland and his third goal.
Their goal was the worst bit of refereeing ever. Give a goal kick, goal or penalty and red card...but not a bloody corner
Kilkenny was a sub for the Aussies, they were ****e tonight and yet he still didn't get on, tells you everything about this waste of space.
See i think kilkenny can do a job if a team is set up right for him. but if it isnt then hes ****. Aussies need to find the next viduka!
Well done Rosco. Hopefully he'll get more of a chance and won't feel he has to move on to progress in his international career.
McCormack's goal was very good. His touch and go was superb and then did well after that as well. How he has been left out for so long is unbelievable
It's a joke. He only got in the squad because Craig Mackail-Smith and Kenny Miller are injured, and then James Forrest pulled out. Rosco's better than all of them.
I agree he is better than all of them, even rhodeswho I do rate is unproven at championship level. Rosco just seems to show class at every opportunity
One of the highlights of the game for me was the 'booing' of Ian Black. The player is a cracking player, with a possible career in front of him, yet he chose to follow money and sign for Rangers in the Scottish 3rd Division. It is utterly shocking that any professional footballer would take the money before a career, especially someone that had top Championship clubs interested in him. There was probably a few fans in the stadium 'booing' Black due to him being a former Hearts player, but I would suggest it was more to do with the money grabbing decision, which I hope now effects him for the rest of his limited career in football.
Due to the fact of the SEVCO, The Rangers FC are a new business and the old Glasgow Rangers FC ended, they don't owe the creditors anything and can pay high wages to players from revenue from the 30,000 season ticket holders, merchandise and tv rights. It is reported Black is on at least £6,000 per week, which is about £3,500 more than he was getting at Hearts and probably equal to what Championship clubs offered him.
They're not offering much in Old Firm/top end Championship terms, but compared to clubs like Hearts, Dundee United etc. they have players on very good wages.
Talking of Scotland, I understand Charlie Adam will be moving across Liverpool to join Everton in the next few weeks.
Charlie Adam isn't that great of a player, he had one good season but he is pretty average at prem level. nowhere near good enough for where Liverpool wanna be
