I would include the other time he was our top scorer as a good season for us also. The season inbetween he was injured for a while and playing for Warnock who clearly hated him and still managed to top our assists, thats 3 good seasons and last one was better than good. I'm not even beginning to suggest he is a legend in any capacity. I'm also disappointed he chose there over a PL club but maybe none were interested in the ridiculous fee involved, I dunno. Either way Fulham are clearly showing more ambition than us. Its been how long and our only signing is a 3rd rate goalkeeper who has only managed about 70 games in 15 years of football, add that to all the cost cutting we've done and to people who don't understand the finances at the club (almost everyone on the planet) it seems like we are on the brink of financial meltdown. Our squad at the moment would struggle to get 30 points on the board throughout the season and we have signed a manager/head coach/bib collector/whatever else you wanna call him who is vastly experienced in failing, there is so many more things I could go on about. How are we possibly showing ambition? Fulham are, they have a great manager, a better squad than most already and ready to spend to improve it more. I truly disagree its coming together. I also don't understand why you would expect McCormack to be so loyal, he has been here 4 years in fairness and we are probably less likely to get promoted now than when he joined. I don't have as much faith in our leader as you do. So far all I have seen him do is lie and make poor decision, in fact this is the first thing he has done which I have been alright with due to his ability to get such a high fee. I'm willing to wait longer for before final judgement but I don't get why so many are already sold on him based on what he has done so far. I'm really not trying to be negative and thats why I haven't posted as much recently.

He could have stayed with us or waited on another club coming in. Clearly unambitious & money grabbing. Better squad? - Every relegated team has had a better squad than us. Didn't do much good for most of them. Our signings - 3rd rate goalkeeper? Do keep up. You seem to be the only person that's unaware of the other Italian signings. And Cellino's statement that the Ross money will be spent on another striker. Money has already been made available for the current targets. There is a plan & he's keeping his cards close to his chest. And it's July! Not the last day of the TW! Felix Magath - good manager? In Germany, yes. In england, jury is most certainly out. 25% win rate in PL & no experience of the Championship whatsoever. Hmmm. McContract's loyalty? - when did he sign his last contract? What exactly has changed since then? His greediness level, as far as I can see. He can sniff money at 40 paces. Cellino has lied? Go tell him or his lawyers that & see where it gets you. Poor decisions - this is unusual at LUFC? Are you surprised? Give the bloke a chance, he's new to this country & this club. Keep up, Josh!
I said the one where he topped our assist charts, ya know I class that as a good season when you set up alot of goals even if you don't score that many yourself (which by the way is the third). He didn't have to go to Fulham and I said I was disappointed about this, but they are better set-up than us to get promotion, no doubt about it. So they are a better option for him in that way. He could've waited for a prem club yes but you don't know that one is ever gonna come along that is willing to pay as much as that and Fulham aren't gonna leave their offer there forever. It doesn't even matter who he is joining anyway, the point I was making is about us, not about anyone else. We are showing a lack of ambition and thats the problem. I am aware of the other signings that are "on the cards" but they haven't happened yet, as it stands our squad will finish bottom of the championship yet we are supposed to feel optimistic about the season to come. Everything he says is fine but he has already been lying about a lot of stuff so why not his intentions in the summer. Maybe his idea of making money available isn't the same as ours, we can only judge once the signings have come in but as it stands we have only made one and it doesn't excite anyone and he will probably never even play for us. I'd much prefer to have him in charge than Hockaday. And Magath came into Fulham with an impossible task, never likely to have a good win rate from that. Why don't you stop and look at it from his point of view. He has been here for 4 years, 3 of them he has been considered a valuable first team player and one of them by far our best player and the club has gone backwards not just a little but a long way. We may start to be looking up now but we say that every single off season and then we have a worse season than the one before. I'm not cut up about him leaving, I'm just concerned with the club currently as there is a lot wrong it just seems I'm the only one that sees it. I'll buy Elland road back the day after buying the club. Personally I call that a lie, doesn't matter what profession your in. He's done it many times, thats the main one. If this was Bates he would've been driven out of the club by now. Only difference is Cellino doesn't have any Chelsea ties.
