    JAMES McClean insists Martin O’Neill’s appointment has not altered his mission to make a mark on the Premier League. McClean has made clear strides since arriving in a £350,000 deal from Derry City during the summer, with the 22-year-old now a serious challenger for a first-team spot. The left winger is yet to make his Black Cats debut after being an unused substitute on eight occasions this season. But McClean impressed new boss Martin O’Neill in Thursday’s reserve team win over Man United, and is in contention to feature in tomorrow’s first-team clash with Blackburn Rovers.


    I wouldnt be suprised to see this lad starting tomorow. He played another blinder the other night. Apparantly Quinn's tipped him to get picked for Ireland's Euro squad next summer!
