I was very happy with his return today. I wasnt sure what to expect and how this would work out as Ward said yesterday he didnt know who would start out of him and Keary and both woukd most likely play some part in the game. But man he was back to his best and how he played last season. Great timing to have him back! I was shocked to see him last the full 90 minutes too. With so many games coming thick and fast now, I suspect Lockyer will be involved allowing McChrystal to catch up on his fitness! Not sure. But its a great problem to have though!

Shocked to see him on the pitch today, amazed he lasted the full 90.

Great performance today not just from him but the whole defence against some good players for this league.

He was excellent, like he'd never been away.

Before the match I was moaning that Ward should have given Keary his chance.
I was wrong. McChrystal played better than he did before his injury...perhaps that's
what was his problem. He's come back at just the right time.

Damn right he's returned at the right time. I was worried when we lost Packwood but am more confident now that Mark is back and clearly in good form. It's time that our senior players stood up to the plate and there are encouraging signs that's happening. UTG!
