****ing great stuff!!! another one lined up for leeds job,

If thjey sacked Grayson so that they had "18 games to get in the play offs" why give redfearn a massive chunk of them games?

Redfearns not good enough this is way above his level which showed by him going 4-3-3 saturday! his win ratio of 18% says hes not good enough!!!!1

Bates **** off out of our club!

    Kissa McCarthys record :

    Games 270
    won 104
    Drawn 66
    Lost 100

    Win % 39%

honest manager, but not good enough.

Totally agree about giving Redfearn a massive chunk of games when we should be looking at getting in a replacement ASAP. sadly though, I think its Redfearns until at least the end of the term.

McCARTHY WOULD BE A BAD CHOICE IN MY VIEW they have struggled every season with him.He used to go with me and a few others for a drink after the game ,he would always ask me about his preformanceand I was not always happy about them.Aylott was the man for me a very good striker

If Mick could get Roger Johnson, Steven Fletcher and Adam Hamill to come with him that wouldnt be too bad.

Who would like a wager than Big Mick is the new Leeds manager before you play us?

George Graham - did well at Wall, ****e at Leeds
    Denis Wise - As above
Mick McCarthy - Crap at Wall so he'll probably do well for you's!

Big Mick's management record in the Championship is probably one of the best <ok>

Took us to the play-offs in his first season (then took the ROI job)
Took Sunderland to the playoff final first season - (losing on pens to Crippled Alice) 2nd season went up as Champions with 94 points (Big Mick was manager of the Season)
Wolves - First season took Wolves to the playoffs, 2nd season finished 7th (on goal difference), and 3rd season Wolves won the Championship and McCarthy was again voted manager of the month.

Cannot understand how some Leeds fans do not want him in charge - there are no better managers available out there <ok>

He is the sort of gaffer who would make us a hard team to beat again (especially at home) instead of the powder puff team Grayson turned us into.

He would be an interesting choice. As TC has pointed out, his record in this division isn't too shabby. Whether he'd be a long term solution is another matter.

Doubt he'd be able to work with Papa Smurf though. Also doubt he's better than Warnock. We'll see what happens. But Redders changing things about a bit & us getting 3pts at Coventry wouldn't be a bad sesponse to Saturday

I wouldn't mind Mick McCarthy in charge, he's a lot better than some of the names mentioned

He's got a much better record than Warnock.

    Warnock's NPC record: 10th, 13th, 3rd, 8th, 8th, 2nd, 1st

    McCarthy's: 3rd, 1st, 5th, 7th, 1st

Would love to see Mick get the Leeds job. A decent bloke and decent manager. Did a good job for Ireland until tosspot Keane undermined him. Doubt if bates would be able to afford the wages he'd need

Well pointed out Simon. I wouldn't mind him on board. Not really bothered about how good his record is in the Premiership - and I think he's done well to keep Wolves up there for 3 seasons anyway.

It's this league that counts and his record is excellent. Plus he probably wouldn't put up for half the bull that Bates dishes out.

Surprised that he's been sacked to be honest. Obviously it was a **** result against WBA, but he's done great to get them into the Prem and keep them up 2 seasons anyway. It's not like they've spent loads of money. They were on level points with the two teams above them as well, so I'd have bet them to stay up ahead of Blackburn.

Will be Neil Redfearn so it doesn't matter.
