    Rather pathetic thread!!
Mick has realised what we have all been saying for ages, we could see Nouble was ****e, we could see our midfield was too defensive, it took him bloody long enough to realise it himself and he is supposed to be the expert!!
Now all he needs to do is to admit Skuse was a poor signing and drop him, also bring in Henshall for Tabb. Then we may have a side really capable if pushing on!!!

I think this thread could come under the 'fickle fan' title. Not aimed at Westlake in particular but a general mood swing. 4 games ago we were poor and MM was a villian. Saturday was uninspiring yet we got the job done and last night was another step forward. Now hes the messiah again. In two defeats time half our fans will be calling for his head again.

I don't think it's a pathetic thread whatsoever Spanish, just a dig at the people who go absolutely ballistic after every single loss/ draw.

I am very much in support of what's happening at the club right now, my mood hasn't changed at all after what I saw at Derby it's quite clear we have a good side and have a realistic shot at the top 6 this season.

Even if we lose to Wigan, I'll still believe and I will all season just like I did the last.

Some off us dont go over the top after a couple of wins either!!
Why the need to have a dig, we were ****e and MM deserved the criticism he got, he has got us playing slightly more attacking but much more could be done, Skuse and Tabb out for Hyam and Henshall.

I think we all agree with the following however - and no I didn't say 1 minute of the game last night.

    - Skuse. MUST improve, or someone else should get a go in there.
    - Bishop is a great prospect!
    - Tabby LM = Clearly not his best position and is this really going to happen all season? Will Henshall / Stewart take up the Wide left position at a later date?

Westlake - read MM's evening star comments from yesterday - Tabb is automatic first choice for MM and it will take something amazing to remove him (to paraphrase) He is a top player, a real pro and a true footballers footballer apparently.

I'm under the impression we're playing Tabb to offer a little bit more of a defensive shield.

I'm sure ultimately Mick wants to play two attacking wide boys like at Wolves with Jarvis/Kightly - but seems a little unsure about the strength of the CM and defence and goes safety first perhaps?

I'll be interested where Ambrose fits into the puzzle, and what will happen when Hunt/ Stewart are back.

I kind of agree... With Mings and Parr going forward so much, Mick is keeping a more defensive midfield with Tabb and Skuse. Bringing Hyam and Henshall on gave us more attacking intent, keeping Tabb and Skuse to play safe. Which ever way it worked last night.

That said I would like to see Skuse in particular dropped for Monday as he offered very little other than giving the opposition hope.

So 3 games ago nearly every person on here was considering replacements for Mick and said he'd taken us as far as we could, we had a rubbish team etc etc and now he's back to being the Messiah, the only think which hasn't changed is we all still think Skuse is ****!!! I think some perspective is needed

Not everyone was at that stage, certainly not Weighty & certainly not myself, I have and still do question his tactics & team selection frequently but do I think we would be better with or without him......behave!

Exactly, i still think we would do better with someone else!! This is what makes football so intersting and exciting, we all have different views, apart from, as ptc stated, we all think Skuse is poo!! Mick just needs an exskuse to drop him, any ideas? We could hire tweacle to kidnap him!!

Westy you missed the last bit of the post out, which also said now he is the Mesiah!! Think it was basically pointing out how extreme BOTH sides can be and that BOTH should not be so extreme, i may be wrong but thats how i read it, lets not only use part of a post to back up your arguement!!<whistle>
