Paul Cook. Never gonna happen unfortunately. As long as the Allams are around, McCunt has a job for life.
Nigel Clough, it won’t happen, even if we got relegated this season, McCann would still have a job. I still think we’ll go up, despite these bad performances.
Tough one this, most managers want to join a progressive club who’s owners want to improve. We don’t have that, we also have a disengaged fan base. So it maybe has to be someone who understands all this but has an affinity for the club regardless. Brownie and an ex player maybe. Brownie picked us up when we where struggling before
doesn,t matter who is available when you have owners that have no ambition or vision & will not put any money into the club. Keeping City permanently in debt to Allamhouse is their business model & it earns them millions a year. Any experienced manager would want a decent salary & money to build his team, which the Allams have no stomach for
Fair one. Suggested Mark Robins at Coventry ages ago but it’s way too late for him now. Realistically we’re stuck with something who could yet take us up or create another car crash. Assuming the trap door opens I doubt the chuckle brothers will go for anyone who decent especially if they are opinionated. That leaves the door open to any Cnut who brown noses Ehaw or once managed Goole town. ..and it’s f’kin snowing.
First off, I detest the Allams, particularly Rehab. I mean, really detest. Second off, they've made many **** ups over the years. They ****ed up big style when cashing in on Bowen & Grosicki, with McCan't in charge, thinking we had more than enough to see out the season staying in the Championship. However....given that there had to be a clear out, they've done an ok job in terms of bringing players in. I can't agree that they have no ambition or vision or will not put any money into the club. That simply isn't true. I do think they have ambition and vision, but it's hampered by delusion, arrogance and stubborness (and by being ****s). I want them out, end of. But that is unlikely to happen. To have any chance of progressing, they need rid of McCann. We had a great chance, one the best chances we've had, of actually winning a division title and winning a cup, but we are in grave danger of slipping toward mid-table and are out of a very winnable cup.
I reckon any of The Pistols would do a better job. I know it's been done before but still, it makes me smile, so I'm gonna post it anyway.
