    Less an embarrassment, more that we were having a good spell of pressure. He could have hobbled off the field, sought attention and allowed us to carry on pressing. Instead he hobbled for a minute then sat down, we played the ball out of touch, and handed the initiative back to Villa who then sat back and passed it around for 3-4 minutes.

    In itself it's a small point, but much like the Dave Brailsford mentality, these little things all add up.

    If that's true, I think it was down to the Bench - pretty sure they wanted him to try and run the injury off.
