He just put Sevilla into the Europa League Final at the death with an away goal when they were 3-0 down (3-3 agg) 90:00 +3:42 Goal scored Goal! Valencia CF 3, FC Sevilla 1. Stéphane Mbia (FC Sevilla) header from the centre of the box to the top right corner. Assisted by Federico Fazio with a headed pass.
Great header. That's his second goal in the semi finals, he's one of the main reasons Sevilla are in the final. Super player, unfortunately he won't ever play for us again.
Great header and celebrations afterwards Will go down as a legend at Seville after that finish Shame same can't be said for him at qpr. If we had kept him and Remy and maybe Adel we would have same number of points as Leicester.
He was a liability with us. Will never forgive him for giving away another stupid free kick in the last minute v Wigan, which Maloney scored from. All but sent us down
But you have forgotten his lungbusting run and assist for Remy's goal with one man down? Bobby's stupid red killed us in that game, not Mbia giving away a free kick.
I havent remember that but also remember his totally reckless red card against Arsenal which match we probably lose because of it. Glad that he is doin well in Sevilla but in QPR he looked like he was bit lost.
We have an impressive list of "absent" players. It is a pity they coUld not play well for us. I wonder what the root cause is? The player or other factors?
We were still 1-0 up with 10 men, and all we had to do was close out the game. Then Mbia makes one of his idiotic fouls. I'd say he was very responsible for killing us in that game.
He may be doing great for Sevilla but he was utter, utter rubbish for us and as for that run where he set Remy up even I couldn't have fudged that up. I'm not normally very critical of players who give there all but he was pretty bad.
He may be doing excellently for Sevilla, but he was dreadful for us. His passing, shooting, tackling was all terrible and his diving was frankly embarrassing. Anyway, I'm glad he's doing well for Sevilla. Probably adds a couple million to his price tag.
