Looks like Maynard is heading back to the championship again. After leaving us as he wanted to play in the Premiership. He joined championship club West Ham. When they got promoted he was sold to Championship team Cardiff. Now they have been promoted he is now linked with a move to either QPR or Forest who both have good chances of promotion this season so then what championship team who he go to after that?

No thanks!-The reception he got when he was at West Ham was the most hostile I have ever seen for an ex-player. Cant see that he would fancy coming back either. It does spell out that he is Championship material but not quite ever going to cut it at the top

Predictable and valid response gdknac after what he said and did to us prior to his moving on. How are you coping with the weather down there?

Maynard was never any better than a Championship striker, which is why it was very naive of the board to turn down £6m from Blackburn for his services. I said many times when Nicky was with us, he is a scorer of great goals but not a great goal scorer.

Its sunny here today, but it has been wet like everywhere else. Luckily not much damage in Exmouth, though I wouldn't fancy being on the sea front. You still in the Canaries? If so, very envious!

Nope I leave for 5 days in England tomorrow and then down to the Canaries on the 15th for 2 months. The flight to England could be seriously delayed due to the "Arctic Vortex" covering the eastern area of North America which has produced terrible knock on delays across the continent. Fortunately out here in my new home on the west coast we never see that kind of frigid weather due the climate being the same as England.
