Maynard ???

Can someone please tell me how much we offered BCFC for Maynard, after all the rejections by the club & the slaggings off we got from the BCFC fans it just seems abit stupid that they want to get rid of him in Jan when they could of got some good cash for him last summer by selling him to us. I can´t see a prem club wanting him unless it´s one in a relegation scrap & with our current FOR problem I´d say go get him, at the right price.

Also has NP ever managed a club with alot of cash ???

Am I the only Leicester fan who doesn't want the club to go for Maynard? He is more or less the same as we have already got, but he would be another player who would need time to fit in.

All we need to do is give Beckford and Nugent decent service, I don't think anyone can argue that they have received this yet

 

Agreed DF, give the forwards chances and they will score.

 

We have Vassell, injured & getting old (for a footballer) & we still have Steve Howard. I think we need to not only look at a winger but a FOR aswell. This guy scores goals, knows the npower & we have the cash to out big all in the npower & most in the prem. Just my opinion.

 

I'm not keen, not for the stupid price tag either.

Would much rather go for Jelavic or Sharp.

But a striker is not our main priority.

We need a pair of wingers, fast.

 

We offered Bristol 7M for Maynard. They didnt turn it down, they asked Nicky Maynard what he wanted to do and he said he didnt want to sign for us so they just left it. Had Maynard said he wanted to come they would of accepted the offer

 

No to Maynard, like PF said he turned us down! Would only want him on a free.

I'm not fussed about maynard either, he won't score anyway unless we sort out our midfield! Anyway it's not up to me I guess it boils down to whether NP is a fan and wether he changes his mind and would want to come, I have a sneaky feeling someone like Newcastle, Swansea or Blackburn may put in a cheeky bid on Jan 31

I agree that the problem is creativity in midfield, but with Sharp and Maynard possibly going cheap in January, can we pass it up?

The only players that deserve their position in the team imo atm are Nugent, Kasper, Konchesky, Peltier and Mills.

 

We need wingers before strikers but if Nigel thinks he needs a striker and knows who he wants why wait. Might aswell get in straight away before the other clubs

In the summer Southampton wanted Sharp but he didnt want to go, we wanted Maynard and he didnt want to come

I reckon we will get Sharp and Maynard might end up at Southampton

 

We´re after Sharp so I understand. I believe a 3m bid will be put on the table when the time comes.
