Who do we want to replace maynard, becasue pitman alone will not be enough

Above are strikers who i believe we are quite capable of landing.

Depends on whether Stead and others are staying for me. If DM wants a target man as has been reported then I guess JS will move on and we'll have a new hero !

He says he wants someone strong and good in the air, He said at the Q A a couple of weeks back elliot is our only threat from corners and set plays and wants to address this.

To be honest id like to see jon parkin the beast good with his feet for a big man probably the most powerful forward in this league always get 10 or 15 goals would be awesome with pitman not sure of his ariel threat but think he scored one against us!
I think he is out of favour at cardiff since jones left may even be out on loan with barnsley cannot be sure.

Another guy we have been linked with is kitson and of course there are a couple of scottish lads we are meant to after one ryan stevenson who sounds promising and has not been payed for several weeks by hearts!! although he is an attacking midfielder who has been playing up front this season

Hopefully if we can shift clarkson and jcr who i think both could be worth small fees, maybe get carey out on loan and hope spence is called back as he does not seem to have anyfuture here, that would give us a lot more clout in this window

Worst thing that could happen is bids coming in for fonts and elliot neiher have signed a contract yet so again could walk in the summer like maynard !! already rumoured soupthanpton are coming back for fonts! could be a very busy january

Rhodes would not come as I said in another post as wont Billy Sharp! (even though I would love to see both in a city shirt)
Cox maybe but his record ain't great since Swindle 10 in 52 for WBA

Kitson sounds like the mould DM wants strong and holds the ball up. Maybe try for Macheda on loan from Man U

But in all honestly I think Pitman is the better finisher than Maynard, knows where to be just lacks a bit of pace. Go for a target man with him playing alongside

most of the players on list are probably out of our pay range so here some of my other suggestions. My dream team forwards for this division a few seasons ago would have been billy sharp and... dexter blackstock. At the moment i would still take both. blackstock has been out injured but is back now and has recently been linked with blackpool.

Neil Mellor has also been a very good goal scorer over the years 9 goals in 20 games this season so far.

I wouldn't mind seeing DM use his scottish connection and loan John Fleck from Rangers with an option to buy as he is young and has potential but is short of first team football so a loan move could be best

Kitson looked quality on his last visit to The Gate. Seemed to be a bit of fan grief though?

he went on loan to blackpool a few seasons back and scored a few important goals that got them promoted to the prem and he did the same for us last season to get us promoted, this season he has a couple of players who cost a lot of money in front of him so he has limited chances in the first team, some of us wanted him to have more games in the premiership as he is scoring in our reserves. He is to good not to play first team football so he will be ideal for you. he will get you goals plenty...

Dobbie! Is he any better than the last waste of space that you sold us? Where is Trundle now? Neath or Port Talbot?

cider that was not trundles fault it was your managers at the time, he played him out of position that was alien to the way we played him where he was a diamond. he is at neath for one reason only as he had many offers home and abroad and that is to gain his badges and play football at the same time with the view of coming back to the swans as a coach in some capacity.....nothing wrong with magic dapps...

i wouldnt want dobbie, his goals ratio is **** in england, plus hes 29, it would be a terrible replacement for maynard, we need someone younger then him who we can build into the team like we did with maynard, pitman will do for now, but it wouldnt surprise me if he dosent score loads

Shiny, Dobbie would be good playing alongside Pitman.

Plus think about it in the past 2 years he has been in a side to win play offs, could be a omen??
