i know its bad and it will feel like the club are on its knees to Maynard, but i think we should offer him anything hes asking for, everyone says pitman will just slip into his place if he goes...what if he dosent, we seem to be a team that if Maynard dosent play well we don't win, his goal drought was when we didnt win, when he socres goals we're more likely to, Millwall and Leicester (6 points) were thanks to Nicky, i think we need to go all out to get him signed up

I like Pitman, especially as he always busts a gut when selected, but for natural talent and technique he's not a patch on Maynard

I think Maynard is a quality chap as well as a player. It seems like he wants to be playing for City in the prem rather than going to a different club. Maybe we'll get one more try with him next season, here's hoping!

Pitman will be a different player when he is sat in Maynards space. I actually think he is a more natural finisher than Maynard and as much as I dont want to see him go
this manager will make sure we aren't left short for long.

If he doesn't sign and we are mid table any decent bid would have to be looked at seriously.
