I know its early doors, and January hasn't even begun yet, but does anyone else think that Maynard and Sharp will be in the premier league come Feb? Sharps already been linked with Fulham, and it won't be long till Maynards linked with every team in the bottom half. These look like 2 class strikers who have proved they can score goals and they are both going to be leaving for a fraction of their estimated value (this applies to Maynard mostly, due to contract expiry) I can't see us getting either of them tbh, as the goal for any player is to be playing for a premier league side, lets hope im wrong.
To be honest we should be worrying about wingers and a playmaker. A striker isn't our biggest worry at the moment.
maynard wont go for a fractional, as soon as he gives a sniff of what sort of club he wants to go to a bidding war will happen right to the end where the biggest desperation bid wins.
Bristol still want about 4M for Maynard and if that is the case then there will be no one after him again. They will get 2.5M at the most now We made them an incredibly stupid offer in the summer and we was stupid enough to make it and they was even more stupid to reject it
