Having seen how envious Paul Jewell is of the 'togetherness' of the NCFC squad and the 100% backing given by our fervent crowd, it may be time to take a leaf from our lowly country cousins' book?

Just saw this on twitter - burst out laughing initially (anyone at Dale Farm have a printer?) but then saw the undoubted benefits.

No panicky queueing 10 minutes before kick-off.
No waiting anxiously for the postman to arrive.

At first glance it sounds stupid, but for years Ryanair passengers have been able to print their own boarding cards before leaving home - each has a unique barcode, so can not be duplicated/tampered with etc.

The only flaw I can find is why is this being rolled out to a club which only attracts 50/60% of capacity every week - surely much more use for the mighty Norwich City, where the "full house" signs go up most weeks - home or away.
    Good work ITFC <ok>

The supporters down the road at Ipswich have taken the "Print at home" idea to the next level, and opted to stay at home for the last 20 years ..:emoticon-0103-cool:

Maybe not, but we've grasped the concept of building a stadium and filling it every week - does that count as innovation ?

Good idea that, although I'd have thought as an act of goodwill Evans and Clegg could have taken them round in person. After all, it'd only take five minutes. ;)

I guess when you're filling the stadium week in/week out over and over why change it?

It is only worth doing if a large part of your support is casual ickets bought for single matches. 21,000 of our 26,000+ are season ticket holders. Add to that the 2-3,000 away fans and you are only looking at a very small percentage of the Norwich fans who could utilise this. The number who would actually use it would be in the low hundreds so why spend money on setting it up?

Has CS hit on something here? Perhaps they've been on offer, but the Town fans misunderstood the 'bog-off' sign on the ticket office window?;)

And so, succinctly ends the argument. Good idea but no real need at NCFC

This was from October 2011, if you read the OP. I have no idea why it has suddenly been resurrected now?
