http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2012...-injury-league-with-manchester-united-bottom/ I realise we are not the worst side in terms of injuries in this league, but if you compare the figures for average days lost we are in the top 5. Could this be due to a poor medical team?
I was optimistic when Brukner came in because he was suppose to prevent the injuries but there doesn't seem to an improvement. Agger, Johnson and Kelly are constantly injured, whilst Torres and Gerrard were struggling to play majority of games.
the days lost on average is just the average length of significant injuries. This to me suggests that either their methods gave players worse injuries (unlikely) or that there were less smaller injuries, which would cause the average to increase (more likely IMO). This to me would not be a good reason to fire him. I would think that its probably either financial (since were pretty much average overall) or because of a dispute or something along those lines.
I heard we had the best record for injuries in days out. Even Agger played more games than usual. Was Brukner actually sacked or did he just leave?
maybe the reason we have one of the highest average days lost is a good thing...We have a young squad and dont want to rush people back to quickly using steroid injections and horse placenta.....let them recover properly so to prolong thier career and their potential
Brukners contract was up. We have a new guy in place it's just not been announced yet and tbh I don't know if there will be a grand announcement. Probably just a few lines somewhere on the official site
well it seems gerrard is just gone so i don't know that he is responsible there and agge ronyl got a broken rib so again thats not down to medical staff.... kelly would be soft tissue and repeditive and you'd wonde ron that but he was in kid gloves.
