http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-beat-premier-league-8006414 Put him in the team or get Rhys Healey back; neither could be any worse than Le Fondre or Maynard. Still having nightmares about his miss v Millwall. We won't see Dikajcoi in a city shirt again IMO. I didn't even get to see him play. Slade now needs to get someone in on loan with Adeyami injured and City lacking power in the middle of the park.
Jason Byrne forgot all about him! Do we risk taking a punt on a "could be" and realising in the near future that he's a "never will be", but if we don't take the chance we may never know. This bloke could be what we need and have been missing.. .. If not, we can always throw in the Towell..
With DGC out for 3/4 months Russell must get in another combative defensive midfielder. Gunnar seems to get knocks every game and it is only time before he has to miss a few games. What cover do we then have in the defensive midfield area? Adeyemi - still unproven with us and looks a bit injury prone as well Ralls - may make it as a left back but not a physical presence in the middle of the park - too slow and not strong enough - also gets caught out of position in midfield - did okay at full back v. Forest where the role is much more clearly defined Eikrem - no f**ing chance - nice on the ball with good control but not a fighter and disappears in games Kiss - bring him back from loan? Not up to it at this level. Have I missed anyone? The Irish lad on trial appears to be an attacking midfielder so not suited to this role. As a purely defensive midfielder, could Cala do a job? Not worth the risk, come on Russell and bring in a tough tackling, in their faces midfielder in now!!!!
thing is with DGC he was never IN. Therefore no great loss, now if Gunnar got injured we would be stuffed. I really dont think this Irish lad is the answer, if this lad was that good he wouldnt be with Dundalk in the Father Ted league of Ireland.
Father Ted League, brilliant.............Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on............
