Massengo is still in reserve and these new boys come into the reckoning ~
In the short term, U23s players Ryley Towler and Opi Edwards have been added to City's senior squad for the trip to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth, with only 18 fit first-team players available currently and City short of defensive options.

Towler, 19, is able to play in the back three and hails from Mangotsfield School, while Edwards, 21, offers cover at right wing-back and is another local talent from the Bristol Inner City Football Academy, with his brother Owura on loan at Grimsby Town.

he was the roman keystone … now lost Palmer and Morrel [ is that worth £1.7m now?] so down now to Bakinson and COD Nagy Rowe Brunt[ should the rest still be recovering] maybe da silva as stop gap?

Falls into the 'it is what it is' now category, not a lot we can do about it, we made our bed and have to lie in it.

Vyner is another option in midfield or even a return to a back 4 at a push.

I think Bakinson/Brunt/Nagy should be the first choice rotation for the two midfield slots with Paterson sat in front of them . With CoD and Massengo as backups to that. I think we need to keep Rowe as cover for Da Silva as he hasn't had a full pre-season, and the games are thick and fast this season.
