    When does the new Transfer Window actually open then, guy on Sky said it is a month and a half before it does, in which case why are we getting so agitated? I thought it was midnight on the 12th May, obviously not.

    Daily Mirror says not until July 1st.

    I find it hard to believe that the players knew Cortese's plans, if it was similar to the Sherwood rumours then we the fans and the players would have known something was up and the players could have gone to Cortese. As it was we were oblivious so why would the players have known?

    Not saying it's untrue about him being on the verge of the sack because of a bad run of form - that from Nicola sounds believable. Would that have had something to do with Nicolas downfall?
