He would take it but I reckon he is holding out for man utd and I don't think Arteta will be sacked just yet

You say that but I can't see the arsenal board putting up with much more of arsenal languishing in the bottom 6 or 7

Potch needs a stable club who will give home time, control and money. Arsenal and Man Utd both look good for him, But they both have dodgy owners.

That said, he would be a huge improvement on either current manager. Utd especially must be mental for not taking him on. He is ideal for them. He plays good football, improves players, brings young players on and now has a load PL and European experience.

A colleague of mine is personal friends with Sir Alex and believe it or not visits her home fairly regularly or at least before covid anyway. She was telling me that utd asked him to support hiring of next manager and he told them not to look beyond Pochettino. Unfortunately OGS came in and done well and was popular amongst the fans and sponsors and basically forced Uniteds hand so they had to go with him.

We only spoke about this as I am a massive spurs fan!

I would like to see him get the West Ham job and kick that ****er Moyes to the gutter where he belongs, for the **** he put us through.

Interesting. Potch is the absolute stand out candidate for that job, and if they miss out on him they might regret it for years. OG did well enough early on but players are not improving under him.

Genuinely think he’s waiting for the United job.

Supposedly turned down Juve and Barca, or at least turned down chance to speak to them.

He is perfect for United it’s borderline insanity that he’s not already there.

I don’t know, has he become a crack addict since he left Spurs?

I've always said Simeone is the one for United but Poch is a close second.

I think his style of play would stop him going to United.

It’s ****ing awful to watch, and I don’t think it would work in the PL anyway.

Ive a close pal from when I lived in Spain who’s a massive Atletico fan and he ****ing hates him, he’s in the minority there of course.

The problem at Man U is Woodward. I can see Pochettino going there but finding his hands tied by the way Woodward works. OGS is more likely to put up with it, where Pochettino would probably push back anf you end up with a repeat of Mouriniho.

I don't follow them closely by any means but when I've seen Atletico under Simeone they've been great to watch, fluid in attack and plenty of goals.

I think he's in a similar mould to Mourinho and you need those big personalities for the big clubs. I like Poch but if I was a prem manager I'd rather face a Poch Man United than a Simeone Man United.

Looking at his wiki Poch hasn't won anything as a manager, not a damn thing. Bit of a nearly man maybe.

If he has any sense, he wouldn't take it. There is no winning there.

    That's true really.

You can't have a good team set up if the club is not ran correctly. As we know only too well!
