Never even heard of him !

Says right/left wing or full back, Maybe that left sided wingback could be filled? Can't be for any other position can it?

That would be one hell of a great signing. He can practically play anywhere on the pitch.

    Ok......simple question.....why us?

Logically, a 26 year old chile international who played for the Italian Champions leaving for a potential relegation dog fight, surely he would attract the attention of say Spurs or Arsenal if he wants to have a go in London..........It doesn't make sense, but maybe it's just me.......

If we do pull this off then maybe we do stand a chance this season......

I did watch highlights and tuned into a few matches, Obviously Watched all the England games in disbelief and gave up until zee Germans made it worth watching again. Should have seen more but Mrs Rhino is Very Pregnant and work hours don't always suit.

I'm interested in your opinion on him though Nines.

I would think perhaps the chance to show what he can do in the Premier League would be a big attraction, plus being in London. Although, as you say, Spurs and Arsenal

Performed well at the World Cup though!

Some fans seem to think if a player dont go to Arsenal or spurs he aint up to much but remember they can only play 11` players like us,we are a draw because we are premier league too

Didn't say that Neil......I asked the question why hadn't he attracted the attention of other London Clubs, ie Spurs or Arsenal when he was moving from the Italian Champions to a potential relegation dog fight.......As an old tutor of mine used to say....."RTBQ....Read The Bloody Question!".......

You cant expect to make comments in general, and not expect specific posters, to feel their comments were covered by the general inference !!

    This would be rather good.

While we are at it a few more Chilean WC players would be very welcome.

This is the biggest indication yet that Redknapp is going with Wing Back's this season

Isla is a very strong operator as a RWB

Great signing if it comes off
