    Anyone know anything about these two guys that we're apparently in talks for!? Are they any good?

    From what I understand, Barnetta is a winger - fair enough but why do we need to spend on another defensive midfielder? We have Tiote and Guthrie and Colo who can play there at an extreme push!!

    WE NEED STRIKERS!!!

    Barnetta is a midfielder who is apparently class and plays for Bayer Leverkusen, he scored the 2 goals against England in the recent Qualifier (credit OT for my knowledge).

    No idea about the other bloke but it's first i've heard of it. But as a mentioned on the Guthrie thread i've heard a rumour that Forest have bid £1million for him.

    Don't know about Matuidi, but Barnetta is quality. Wouldn't class him as a winger though, can play anywhere in midfield. Has pace and quality.

    Colo was awful when he played in midfield last year and Guthrie aint a Defensive midfielder

    We need a squad, Tiote will be missing a month in Jan for ACoN and would you really want Guthirie or Colo playing a whole month in that role

    Craigcoozy has also said that a player is currently staying over in one of the hotels where he has a source, but he hasn't been able to get the name yet.

    Matuidi is a beastly defensive mid who's been linked with teams like Arsenal for years, he's expected to go for around €12m.

    Maybe. He got the thing about Nolan bang on though yesterday.

    And Craigcoozy is the guy I trust most of all probably. He doesn't bullshit. He just says what he knows about who's staying over at various hotels. There's one in Jesmond which NUFC frequently use to give players overnight stays, and he has a source in there who can find out who's staying.

    I can't keep up wi all these players we are linked with. Ba, zog, barnetta, Gardner, matuidi, erdnic, taylor and the ones I mentioned there are prob the most likely ones. Hate this time of year like,

    Barnetta is top class.

    I actually laughed out loud yesterday when I heard we were after him, because he was close to signing to Real Madrid last season.
