http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...elieve_he_s_heading_for_Fratton_Park/?ref=mac Oh dear, Matty agreed to do a documentary on penalty taking. He has just heard it will be filmed at half-time at FP. Hope he's got a bullet-proof vest
Ha! Except we're not playing at home this Saturday, we're playing away on Sunday (on TV!) So I don't think he'd get too many jeers
Reading all the wumming and trolling in the comments section of that article makes me miss the derby days. As much as I'm enjoying Pompey's demise, I do wish for a derby day to come around soon. You just can't beat it!
Le Tissier has always enjoyed playing the villain at Fratton Park. He takes the rivarly thing in good spirit so I dont think it'll matter all that much.
Did he not play in the Alan Knight testimonial at Krap Nottarf and after scoring a penalty, he lifted up his shirt to reveal a Saints shirt underneath?
I think that was Steve Claridge's testimonial. I have a picture of him standing with his back to the goal he's just scored in, dressed in the Pompey gold kit, with his arms aloft showing the Saints shirt underneath, while Claridge is running in to give him a hug. Good pic. I'll post it up if I can find it.
Damn, I knew you'd say that. Hang on, it just might be on this HDD. Blimey, found it after 2 minutes. You realise it might have taken several hours..! please log in to view this image Might I suggest you copy and paste it for yourself..?
