going to west ham- thats nolan, taylor and faye- 3 premier league signings. And thats to go with spector, tomkins, noble,collison, stanislas etc, willprobably get gradel and a few others, i am expecting them to be the team to beat next year. We havent signed pure premier league quality like they have. and 2.2m?we need a winger bit of a shame we didnt go for him. I really think we need a winger and a striker of premium quality to be properly considered as a title-challenging team. If we were to get routledge or whittingham and maynard or yakubu then things will look better. Im sure sven will sort it. Also is it just me or is it strange that west ham are signing thses players nowand not when they were in the prem?? if they had these players last year they probably wouldnt have gone down. nolan and parker in midfield? would have been fine imo.
Their owners, despite advice to the contrary, decided that they didn't need to spend any more money than they did. They thought they'd be safe and it backfired. Now I think they're banking on going up next season like us.
yeah i get that, but surely in jan they must have known they were in trouble, these are top top players for the champo, im well impressed to be honest.
To be fair most of big Sams signings have played for him before! with the exception of Parker, who i think will be gone before start of season, he(sam) would not have gone to W.Ham without money to spend. Dont think they will walk this league at all, Overall we have better players. IMO the teams to watch are Boro and Ipswitch! Sven is the man.
