He is captain with Kingy on the bench.


Any thoughts, are you happy with him being captain? Do you think he will be made captain full time?

Personally, had it been anyone else, I wouldn't be happy with him waltzing in and nabbing it but as we saw last season he led Reading to the play-off final and he seems like a respectable player, he should do well.
 
I think Mills should be the captain full time with Wellens vice captain. It looks like Oakley will be leaving if you believe all the rumours and i dont think King is a captain, he doesnt lead and since he got the armband his performances dropped and the goals stopped

Kingy doesn't talk and who want a captain that goes missing for large parts of the game?
 
King is a good role model and a very good player, those are the only reasons he might be captain. As for being a leader, I don't think he's that.

I've always said Wellens should be captain and I stick by it. When you're in the **** and looking for players to stand up and be counted, that's when you notice captain material. Time and time again Wellens has stood out in that situation. I think in this sense he's earnt the captain's armband, whereas Mills hasn't done so having only just signed.
 
Quite simply we need leaders all over the pitch. Mills is experienced as a captain and has proved he can do this without losing form. Absolute no-brainer ! You dont earn captaincy at all.
