Certainly wont play again this season, i think, but at least he has a fair amount of time to try and get himself fit for the start of next season depending on the extent of the injury.

With him and king (do we know when he is back?) both out it means DD really has to step up to the plate. How did he do in that deep position today which he played mostly in the championship? I couldnt get tickets :(

Its a serious knee injury which until he has had a scan and the results back we won't know.

Shame but class from James clapping the fans despite being in serious pain

Sounded like a season ender, but thats not surprising seeming any injury over 2 weeks is a season ender. Lets hope hes better for when they return after the summer.

Looks a lot more serious then just ending his season. If its as bad as feared it could put him out of all of next season

... having had that type of injury myself when only 19 I fear it may be cruciate ... if so it will take him a good 6 months post op to be playing again ... good thing is that he is young ... and with the treatments available nowadays has every possibility of a complete recovery ....

We cant afford any more injuries in midfield now as we down to the last 3 midfielders

King might miss the rest of the season while James will

Hopefully Drinkwater plays like we know he can. I wouldnt say he has a great game or a bad game yesterday

Similar to the start of the season when we had midfield injuries and were winning! It seemed to be in the middle when everyone was fit we had problems

Will hammond and cambiasso be too defensive? Hammond has played better but thats my main worry.

After a really good start in the championship, Drinks dropped off in form, and it took the best part of a season for him to be dominant. He has had the best part of a season now and can see him improving. Saw the game out well against the saints, Would give him the opportunity of starting against Sunderland and bring Hammond on if we need to protect points.

We still have Cambiasso, Drinky and Hammond. Would be VERY unfortunately if we didn't have enough for the last two matches!

Not really considering we play with attacking wing backs, Two up front and Mahrez just behind!

Think its good that Mahrez is now available as a central midfielder rather than a winger, lets hope that he can keep improving and linking up the play, as well as getting in the right positions to score too <ok>

Great opportunity for Drinky or Hammond to step in and shine.
