Back up to Bertrand. If there's the slightest chance of getting him, we should go for it. Can't see it happening, but, the way Rafa is convincing players to sign, who knows.
Yeah he is pretty decent. I also have a mate who is a saints fan though and the word is Bertrand could be on his way out which would probably put an end to this one.

We're getting near the stage that I begin to worry how new arrivals will affect the character of the team. 7 new players is fine as long as they're rotated in, just don't want a whole new starting XI, that never ends well.
It will be fine if they have a pre season together which at this rate they will do. Regardless our team will look different due to those who want out like Sissoko/Gini/Janmaat/Tiote. We were so poor that it is probably no bad thing. I agree normally I like a bit of continuity but perhaps that is not so important when you've been utter ****e.
Last seasons team had very little character. That's one of the reasons we went down. While I don't advocate clearing the decks fully, a comprehensive overhaul of the squad will be a good thing in my opinion. I am actually looking forward to pre season for the first time in a long time.
