Good signing if we get him, out 2 months is a pain but I think still worth it. Do you think this means Townsend is definitely off ?
We need 2 wingers so Townsend could still on, if hes a LW then Hoilett could play on the right, if hes a RW then Townsend and Hoilett will play on the left.
not in our bracket, we either buy over 32s or under 18. I still rate him, harry is good in the transfer market
Just seen that too QPR999. This guy is rarely wrong.... like my old mucker Cerny So it's good news indeed!
Sort of agree but maybe it means they are taking a rather longer term view of things which is generally very encouraging.
I'm sure he's a promising young talent. I've heard good things about him, which leads me to wonder why Holloway hasn't thought about taking him to palace? Would certainly fit the bill there and he bought him for blackpool. Had a good season when they were in the Prem apparently, does he know something we don't?
Paul Ince has denied claims that a deal has been agreed to sell winger Matt Phillips to QPR. National newspaper reports state the injured winger is set to join Blackpoolâs Championship rivals in a £5m deal. Phillips is not expected to return to action for at least five weeks after breaking an arm in pre-season. Pool boss Ince dismissed the rumours.âThereâs nothing in it, as far as I know,â he told The Gazette. âMatt Phillips has not even started training yet. I knew there was interest from some clubs a couple of weeks ago. âBut look at our squad. Unless they come in with a major bid heâs a Blackpool player. âUnless the chairman has accepted a bid which I donât know about, which I doubt, then thereâs nothing in it. âHeâs a Blackpool player and thatâs how it will stay.â Phillips, like fellow winger Tom Ince, regularly catches the attention of scouts on visits to Bloomfield Road. He has been linked with Cardiff, Bolton and now with the relegated London club from Loftus Road. But Ince is more concerned about how much Blackpool are missing the 21-year-old on the field. He said: âMattâs a massive loss for us at the moment. We are really missing his quality, and you can understand why heâs being linked with clubs like QPR. âAt the moment, no-one has told me that QPR have bid, so heâll be staying with me until they do.â http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/blackpool-fc/ince-denies-qpr-phillips-claims-1-5928349
At the moment, no-one has told me that QPR have bid, so he’ll be staying with me until they do.” Until they do, does that mean they will let him go, or am I reading too much into it
There's nothing there that says "we don't want to sell", "he is important to this club" or some such phrase.
