So yesterday we made completed the signing of Matt Mills. The whole deal was completed from start to finish in the same day. We completely blew Wolves and Stoke out the water and Reading had little choice but to accept. He may be a little expensive but if the owners are prepared to pay it and Sven wants him then i am more then happy. He is a great signing. I think he is a better version of Jack Hobbs, my main problems with Jack Hobbs was he was too nice and no threat in the opposition area. Well Mills isnt a nice fella to play against he will kick the strikers and people dont win much against him. he is also a massive threat from corners which he proved against us last season with that bullet header when Reading beat us. 2 minutes after that he cleared a Steve Howard shot off the line. Both Mills and Bamba will be massive threats in the opposition area. We havent had 2 attacking centre backs since Patrick Kisnorbo and Gareth McAuley. Mills and Bamba will make a great partnership i think, they are 2 players that will run through brick walls and with Sean St Ledger and one more pushing them for the shirt we will have great competition at the back. Now our squad is coming along very nicely, i think we need a left back and a striker then all we need to do is sign players to add competition to the squad. please log in to view this image
Yeah if Wolves signed him we would of been a future England captain and all that nosense. Its just sour grapes. Leeds did the same with Kasper Schmeichel
