Needs to start getting disciplined. Thats another three games he's banned for. A game that would have been quite interesting ****ed up yet again (just like the Birmingham game) I doubt that Hull would beat us with 11 men. They've been saying the same on their board so lets see what happens. All that I know is that Mills has let down another 3000 strong travelling support.
Not a pen, he touched the ball which changed it's movement which led to Bitty Mclean having a bad touch before he fell, and the ball rolling to Kasper. The linesman had a perfect view of this but didn't intervene. I seen it in live play with a not so good quality wise stream, and proven correctly by the replay, so how a paid referee and linesman did not see the touch i have no idea!! When I heard the whistle, I thought it was off-side or calling up a foul by Bamba. More to the point, their peno came from a break away from when we had the ball to the left of their penalty area before we gave it away. I was happy with a draw from this game befoe kick off, now I'll be delighted to come away with a draw. Funnily enough, we look better with 10 men than when we had 11!? Come On You Foxws
If the ref gave the pen then the red had to come as well but the thing is that it was a perfectly good tackle. Fantastic stretch of the leg to just get a nick on the ball and send it from McClean through to Kasper. Bounced back well though and it was a great finish from Konch though after what was a poor effort from Nugent. Touch and go for offside but maybe Dawson played him on. Good to get in level and just re-group now because Hull look suspect defensively. They're playing a very high line and we should look to get in behind them more if we can bypass their first wave of high pressing. One thing I remember from Nigel's last time was that we were generally good with 10 men. I remember the Newcastle game where we completely outplayed and should have won when we had 10 men and also Watford as well when I think we were 1-0 down, went a man down and ended up winning 4-1. Would take this point now though.
Mills tripped him after winning the ball = stupid. It was clear on the stream I'm watching, so you should see it on the FLS. Well under the cosh this half - a point would be a great result. Konch and Schmeichel = heros.
Those saying it was a good tackle haven't seen it properly I'm afraid. Yes the first one was, but then after the hard work he legged up McLean when the ball was gone. He wasn't attempting to get the ball, which is why I'm so angry at him. It wasn't a sending off because McLean wouldn't have scored, but a penalty it was. In any case, he has cost us again by making an immature and unnecessary tackle.
Just seen the penalty on Sky....... Great 1st tackle by Mills, but then committed the foul that the ref saw and considering it was 6 yards out it had to be a red card. No complaints from me!
Said in the car on the way back, he should be stripped of the captaincy - After all Walshie, a true Leicester legend lost the captaincy for the same reason - I did get a bit of stick for the suggestion though. But at the end of the day his indiscipline has cost us again - He's on 4 yellows as well you know! Personally I'd give it to Kasper
Incase you hadn't noticed, mate. This is the 21st century. I watched the game on a live stream and behind the goal that you scored your winner in was an army of 3000 odd Leicester fans. You can delude yourself as much as you like, but its a fact. The other 3 sides of the stadium were filled with tense, nervous and bored Hull fans who didn't chirp up till the last minute
Speaking of good/bad attendances.... 20000? With 3000 Leicester fans! I thought you would be excited to see Pearson, after all, he is the only reason you're not somewhere in League one right now
Armchair fan Have you ever been to Rotherham on a tuesday evening to see your reserves play? Nah, didn't think you had.
How can you say the stand was full of Leicester fans you mug? It wasn't, FACT. It was half full at best. If you actually attended the game (fat chance) you would know this.
You better be at every Hull City match home and away for the rest of your life if you're going to make comments like that. I didn't go, but I know that 20K on a Saturday against a team you want to beat more than most when you are doing well in the league is **** by our standards
of course you do. People in glass houses, kid. I'm sure your dad will teach you that phrase and when it's best to use it
