He's not a bad player, just not worth what we were paying.

 

Yea this is what I said. Also the people that got the best out of him are currently at leeds so hopefully he will perform better if we do end up signing him

And plus we are kinda in desperate need to sign someone to play alongside Lees, Peltier just isn't a CB imo

 

Pelts is a RB so i feel for him as he looks awul but thats because he isnt being played there.

He isn't good enough at RB to get in ahead of Byram though, he has spent most of the season as CB and has played LB for a while as well. To be fair he always looks quite calm and doesn't make many if any mistakes. Definitely not what I was expecting when I heard how you guys were describing him. Still, he isn't a CB and for me should be a utility squad player / back up RB next season

Difference is we seem to get the best out of players when others think there attitude supposedly stinks. Whereas leicester give up on em after a few games and then get stuck with them because they portray them as if they are the devil or something. Truth is that a striker like Beckford would've got you out of this league a long time ago if you were able to manage him properly, Pearson doesn't seem to be able to man-manage people that well though, just my opinion

 

Mills would be a cracking signing for Leeds if all the terms are sensible

 

Well we have him tied down till 2016 and have also put an 8m price tag on him so if we do lose him it'll be for a fairly decent fee which we will hopefully be able to strengthen with those funds if it does happen. I'm hoping it'll be a win-win situation either way

 

Josh how many times have you seen Peltier?

he constantly made errors at Left back and ended up getting some right stick from the fans.

I have found him decent at Centre Back (still makes mistakes mind but seems to recover well)

I did say he was average when Leicester signed him and he has yet to change my mind on that.

I would welcome Mills though

 

scary to think that he nearly got released by us 2 years ago cos he struggled to make any sort of impression in the academy.

he is by far the most comfortable defender we have had in years

and he is a real threat going forward.
