So it seems Matty and Franny have teamed up again to offer a new style of coaching programme for kids. Can't see Nicola's young'und attending, but interesting all the same. Hope it works out well for them.

Interesting that Pele is a coach there too (no, not that one, our old one).

You buggered the URL a bit, might want to remove one of the https.

Interesting though, I like how Pele's bio includes the line "MLT Natural Coaching believe Pele has enhanced our Coaching Team and everyone adores him xxx"

    Amended! Thanks Dan.

Seems MLT is more the name/figurehead than taking an active coaching role too. Still, were I a kid in the area I'd love to have gone along to that.

Has he been doing it for a while? I think my brother might have been involved. Or maybe just some of his friends.

Not sure Qwerty. Quite possibly it's just a website revamp. I like the concept though and wish them the best with it.

Nice. We can all see what MLT wants to come from this, and that's better, more skilful footballers. Wishing Him, Franny and Friends all the good fortune with that. If Matt can pass his skills along to another generation, then he will have truly put something back into football.

Would be a first for Matt as he said recently he's never eaten in one.

Did he really say that? I'll have to flick back through his book again.

I think he was a fan of Burger King.

I have eaten one MacDonald's hamburger. No, I lie, about a half of one, on two occasions. First time, donkey's years ago, I went into one of their restaurants [if you can call them that] out of curiosity. Had a few bites out of the burger, it tasted awful and I demanded my money back. I didn't get it. Then about 10 years ago, someone bought me a Mac without my asking, and I took two bites out of it, and it was the same appalling waste of time.

On the other hand, once upon a time, I was doing branch manager relief at Bognor Regis Comet and across the car park was a Burger King. I was desperate for something to eat at lunchtime, as I'd forgotten to bring a lunch, and we were slightly out of town. So, praying to legods of food, I went over to BK, chose a Whopper, and it was delicious. So the rest of the relief stay was daily Whoppers and I put on half a stone. Lovely, but not good. :)

Suffice to say, I've never eaten another one.

Burger King burgers are the best and I'm not even a burger fan. My friend's grandson has got onto Matty's scheme...I heartily approve of anything that keeps kids occupied and fit.

There's been an upturn in 'gourmet' burger outlets recently - it's quite the trend, and I suspect that Matty might be following it closely. If you're ever to visit Brighton, I can highly recommend the Troll's Pantry, Burger Bros and Meat Liquor.

Not all in the same day though.....
