Been linked with him today I think he is worth a punt for right money no more than 4 million what's what's your thoughts
I'd be interested mate, he's never found consistency, but he has fantastic ability, and time is on his side. He could be an excellent addition right side if MON can work his magic, think he'd cost closer to £6million.
These lads wont give us stiffies but I'm telling you, they will gel better as a team than the I want £60,000 grand a week after one good season mercenaries that are currently being linked. MoN, like his mentor Cloughie, builds teams around characters. Individually they may not be the best aorund but in a team, they will fight, scrap and be hungry for success. These are exactly the players I would love to see here. The one exception to that would be Adam Johnson, who would be our stellar sigining imo if he came and really ignite the clubs ambitions and the supporters dreams. To have a team with Jarvis, McCLean, Sesegnon, Fletcher and Johnson in it would be immense for us next season imo.
He's better on the left but as he's right footed can operate on both flanks and could interchange well with McClean. He's also better than Downing, he scored 8 in the league last year That's EIGHT by the way,
I think it'll be 'one of' Cest. Johnson, Jarvis, Hoillett, Phillips. I think MON really wants Johnson, as a marker as well as a footballer (would be a real statement), but that is a tough deal to do. Hoillett has made himself look a ****, he could have been greedy next move, turned down CL for QPR? Jarvis, Phillips or Peter Whittingham would do for me, not big flash names, but all can beat a man, deliver a good cross, and grab a goal or 2. Parker, Did he get 8? That's very impressive, and makes my yes even bigger!
He certainly did, players and fans player of the year two years running also I believe. If we got Fletcher and Jarvis that would add 20 goals to our team
It would remove the 1D factor as well. Sebs a weapon, but in open play he's easily shut down, I see a role in the middle working. what about ---------Fletcher/van Wolfswinkel------- ----------------Sess------------------- Jimmy------------Seb--------------Jarvis --------------Jack/Catts---------------- Now that could be lethal going forward, although we may get caught short at the back, we'd need to play a deep line, but that could give the wingers & Sess space to play into.
.......................mig................. Cuellar....oshea....brown.....Rico ................catts..colback.............. McClean........Sess..............Jarvis ...................Fletcher................... Catts and colback protecting the back 4, McClean and Jarvis interchanging and Sess in the hole behind Fletcher. I think if that was the team wed break the 50 point barrier and finish top 8
See, that looks a good side, but I'm more inclined to go with the extra creative man in Seb, as long as we play the right 2 CB, one holder should be enough protection, Jimmy can track back of course (although Jarvis doesn't!)
Jarvis and Matt Phillips for the wings, rotation with Seb and James. I would be ****ing delighted with that
good player that jarvis, him and fletcher stood out a mile last season for wolves, pity they couldn't fill another 9 positions with similar quality. jarvis would be a very good addition to most premier league sides, it's a yes from me
This is a vast step forwards compared to some of the other **** rumours....... He's a damn good player, without a friggin foreign name......
Speculation can be a wonderful dreamlike state. Reality however is another thing. Nobody knows the direction of our team, with the exception on MoN. And I dare say even he is not sure right now. so keep the faith folks. Im sure all will be revealed in the next month.
I like Jarvis, he would be an excellent signing. Got to get Seb in the team, the guy is dangerous from set pieces and is our best passer and crosser of the ball. I could see him playing in the middle and spaying the ball out wide to Jimmy and Jarvis. Seb works hard is good on the ball, he has all the makings of a great CM.
