Not sure if Harrold actually did sign a contract extension with us or not. He could have activated a clause in his contract to get a 1 year extension after his contract was due to expire at the end of this month. I have read in places that he had signed his 1 year extension but Rovers didnt actually say if he had or not.

Im guessing he would have signed with us but was waiting to see what offers he gets elsewhere and as league 1 side Crawley has came calling, he chose not to take up his extension but leave for Crawley.

Reading his tweet translated is you can't afford me now even though I clogged up your physio room and I took your money but I'm going to do 1 rather that fight for the cause or my place now that serious competition is in the building.
