...has anyone seen him play for the U-21s yet? What did you make of him? Should he be given some opportunities in the first team now that we are safe from relegation? If so which fixture would you choose to blood him?
Not seen him play TB but other players are ahead of him in the pecking order and they have to be considered too. Fulton, Barrow, Carroll (apparently a pre summer bid has been made for Carroll, don't know outcome though, any one know more?) are ahead of him in their progression so I'd concentrate on this next wave and think about blooding Grimes nest year, unless he's performed spectacularly in training and for the U21's that is, if so then grow him quick. He's good I've heard but is young and needs time to develop his game and gain confidence. We'll see though
Watched him when we played against QPR U21.s a few weeks back . looked comfortable on the ball , made time for himself and had a hand in our second goal .He played against Charlton last week so he's getting plenty of game time and has youth on his side . imo He'll be one the Club will invest in and we could see him sooner rather than later .
