Gutted for him. Lets hope our physio team learnt lessons from Birch and bring him back as good as new
New season hoodoo strikes again. Unlike Kingy and Birch you actually trotted out for first league game of the season, but............. Sure the club will do their best for you and hope we see you back in the side this season. Good Luck!
Huge blow to lose Fishy for so long and we will miss him for sure. Hopefully we now extend the loan of the guy from QPR for a longer spell or sign another right back permanently as we have no idea when Fish will be back in action seeing as Simon King never really came back from a similar length injury. Worrying times.
Gutted for him. Harriman looked very instinctive and quite rapid last night. His error led to the first goal, allowing their man to get inside of him and along the touchline, but other than that he didn't really step much of a foot wrong. Was very attacking minded. I was constantly screaming for the diagonal ball out to him which he didn't seem to get. Really hope we can nab him for the season.
The word bugger comes to mind. Major blow for us, especially with our threadbare squad. If we are being realistic he won't play again until next season. Cruciate ligaments take so long to heal that its not worth risking him beforehand. Again where is Jack Evans when you need him.
I'm gutted for him, especially as he had problems with the knee before the game and probably wouldn't have been playing if there was cover.
Fish was in the dugout last night and walking unassisted. It may be that the injury is less severe than others like Birchall. I hope so but as others have said, Harriman looked a good player and worth a season long loan if we could get him.
