V Slovakia v Wales Euro 2016 preview VENUE Euro 2016's third game will be played at the Stade de Bordeaux on June 11. The stadium was only opened in 2015 after a long construction process hindered by lawsuits put into place by local citizens. While it was set to be completed by late 2014, it took until May 2015 for the first league game to take place. During Euro 2016 the stadium is set to host four group matches and one quarter final, with the game between Wales and Slovakia the first to be held there in this summer's competition. ODDS Wales (25/12) Draw (39/19) Slovakia (19/10) TEAM NEWS Slovakia The major conundrum for coach Jan Kozak ahead of Slovakia's opener is whether to select Adam Nemec or Michal Duris as his striker against Wales. Kozak decided to leave Robert Vittek, Slovakia's all-time top goalscorer, out of his squad after he suffered an injury. Probable line-up: Kozacik; Pekarík, Skrtel, Durica, Hubocan; Kucka, Pecovsky, Mak, Hamsik, Weiss; Duris. Wales Despite breaking his leg on May 7, midfielder Joe Ledley has recovered and could be involved for Wales against Slovakia. However, Premier League winner Andy King is likely to replace him from the start for Wales. Chris Coleman could also call upon both Joe Allen and Hal-Robson Kanu, who have recovered from knee and Achilles tendon injuries respectively. Probable line-up: Hennessey; Gunter, Chester, Williams, Davies, Taylor; Ramsey, King, Allen; Bale, Robson-Kanu. Head-to-head Wales and Slovakia have only met each other twice in their entire respective histories. However, both of those contests were thrillingly entertaining, with 13 goals across the two games from both sides. Neutral supporters will be hoping for a similar outcome on Saturday in what is Wales's first game at a European Championship. TOP CAT'S PREDICTION Slovakia 2 - 0 Wales
Only one word can sum up that game. We was absolutely and completely cheated by a biased scum bag of a referee.
Fully agree. We should have had a pen and that bald prick sent off in the first half too Come on Russia
I hate this tournament already because hodgson is an idiot, the crap football orientated advertising and the fact everyone is too afraid to say it as it is on TV England played ****
Yes they played crap in my opinion against a very poor Russian side without key players Yes they sprayed a few nice ineffective long balls through Rooney, however they never got in behind, the keeper only made one good save from a less than perfect strike from Rooney. What I'm saying is we were ineffective. The idiot commentary and pundits don't fool me
Exactly Now it's Rooney show in midfield give it to him give it to him then nothing uptop He had a good game but there's something not right in our set up. Hopefully we beat Wales or we're out basically
