    West Ham and Charlton Cup games are called off due to riots in London.

    Wonder if Spurs/Everton goes the same way?

    Tottenham - Everton game will go ahead according to all the papers , many other London games won't though.

    If they are asked to police the footy matches, then that just increases the potential for riots elsewhere. They should call them off IMO. Hopefully the Spurs game will come after all this has ended.

    British government is set up in such a terrible way. I wouldn't be surprised if these riots sparked even more anti-government riots and protests.

    Essex and Suffolk Police have confirmed that they have sent officers to London to assist Metropolitan Police colleagues.

    Going to cost the taxpayer millions for the actions of mindless morons.

    Making a protest is one thing, but there's ways of making them without all this kind of hooliganism.
