Enjoyed that...was beginning to worry that they had decided not to do one this time. Nice new paint job in the corridors...good psychologically to have larger than life pictures of the players. Noticed the label on the bikes...For use of home team only Presumably that was Katarina's husband who was told by Ronald that he should come every week.

 

But it's very civilised. Mind you, passing on infection is rife.

 

We like these now but I doubt many will be watching the weeks we lose 3-0 at Hull or whatever

It is the first time I have noticed away players given the artwork a glance. Quite intimidating really - especially Victor rightoutside the away dresing room! I think they have upped the standard of the video by mixing footage from eye on the wall cameras with hand held filming. Much better!

 

Large pictures (in such a narrow space) intimidate the opposition and make our players strut more. I know the bikes are there because we need to use them, but I also think they have an effect on the opposition. You can imagine them thinking...they warm up on those and we don't..ergo, it must give them an advantage. Be interesting what effect it has on Stoke next week after our win this weekend. As Merson said: the lower clubs won't come to SMS and try and play open football.

 

Much as I usually consider any opinion of Merson's to be shot full of holes, he may have a point there, Mind you, Saints movement in midfield and attack is now so good I'd like to see if 10 players behind the ball could stop us for 90 minutes.

 

I'm always amazed at how quiet everyone is. If I'd just played in that game I'm sure I'd be screaming my head off. Of course if I had played we wouldn't have won 8-0

Surely they must give it some in the dressing room.
