If individual threads then some topics may not get much traffic.. May be best to have a "Week 14" thread will all the games highlighted, post your score predictions and then thoughts before, during and after the games? Def. staying up to watch the MNF game, Texans @ The Pats... could be game of the year?
That's a good idea, a score prediction thread or game. Incorporate it all into one thread like you said and whoever gets the most right can do the next one. I'm not very good with layouts, is that the right word? Designing a thread with pictures and things is beyond me I'm afraid!
Vikings are playing the bears. it's a **** or bust game for us. urlacher is out for the bears so that's good.
6-6 The Vikings could still win their div with 4 straight, true it's unlikely, but Tampa are 6-6 and even if they do somehow win out, they probably still won't make the play offs.
No chance Vikes make the play-offs this year, even with a win against the Bears it won't happen. Especially now that Harvin is on IR
Knowshon Moreno sparked a struggling running game with 119 yards and a touchdown and Manning threw for 310 yards and another score to help Denver roll past the Oakland Raiders, 26-13 on Thursday night. Manning extended his franchise record with his 30th touchdown pass on the game's opening drive, became the fastest quarterback to reach 5,000 career completions and earned his record 12th 10-win season as a starter. That helped the Broncos (10-3) move a half-game ahead of New England and Baltimore for the second-best record in the AFC. Denver visits Baltimore next week in a game that will help decide who gets a first-round playoff bye.
I probably watched Peyton's worst game of the season (Falcons), but even then he almost dragged them back into it. I'll be up for Texans at Pats too.
Hi North North, nice to see you again. That was pretty easy for Denver. I thought the Raiders showed some brief glimpses of improvement at times. You have to love their fans.
Someone needs to start doing some decent write ups on this stuff. Get it promoted, hit newsnow in the relevant section and attract the punters in. I can't help you out people because I know absolutely nothing about American Football but don't mind attempting to press the right buttons if someone wants to make the effort.
Was a crappy game for my NFL fantasy picks, had Damaryius Thomas as WR Scared the **** out of me when he went down to the locker room. Glad he returned in the 3d quarter although he didn't do much for the team after...
Big day in Tampa today, a lot of the team from Superbowl XXXVII, will be at Raymond James, it's nearly 10 years since that special night in Philly and the last ever game at Veteran's Stadium. They won't have forgotten the sound drubbing that Tampa handed out the next season, when "Apollo Creed" came to town and saw off Rocky in their brand new one.
LET'S GO COLTS! Reggie needs two catches today to lift him into the top 10 of all time receptions. Seeing as he's gone about a million consecutive games with 3+ catches, pretty safe bet he'll make it!
Carolina Panthers win the coin toss, first coin flip win for them this season, so this must be change they're hoping for in Carolina?
