    Oops, beaten to it lol

But I'm liking that team and it's good to see Hooper getting a start.

RvW must have a knock to miss out completely, did he pick something up on international duty, or just not got over the niggle he had before?

No Elmander on the bench either? Haven't got a lot of attacking options available!

Edit: BBC say toe injury for RvW, so presumably just the one he had before.

Hopefully we will play the way we did against Chelsea, and indeed the way we did at the Emirates last season (and the season before) <ok>

    Carzola AND Ozil <collectivegulp>

No Ramsey though, he's in all my dream teams so at least it takes that mental conundrum out of the equation to start with at least.

Come on Hoops, big game for you today son, let's see what you can do!

My thoughts exactly. Keeping those two quiet is a big ask!

Huge game for Hooper, if he can take this chance and impress, RvW might have a struggle to get back in.

We're certainly going to have to be very patient today. I don't think we'll be having much of the ball!

Good goal with a couple of very cheeky flicks to undo the back line

Really good effort from Fer. Nice to see some shooting from outside the box, and on target <ok>

It's almost a shame it's half time, best spell for city in the last 10 or so.
A bit like the Chelsea game, slow to start and grew in to the game as it wore on.

Don't think we've been totally outplayed.
If we keep this up, we could well get something from this match.
