Hi all, We had a thread about match threads but I can't seem to find it or dig it up. I can do the match threads for the games in bold below. I won't be able to do the games in red as away for easter and then got family coming over to visit towards the end of the season. If anyone wants to take one to do a match thread for them then I am sure others would be grateful. Mar 29 15:00 GMT Watford v Burnley Apr 2 18:45 GMT Hull City v Watford Apr 6 16:20 GMT Watford v Cardiff City Apr 13 14:00 GMT Peterborough United v Watford Apr 16 18:45 GMT Millwall v Watford Apr 20 14:00 GMT Watford v Blackburn Rovers Apr 26 18:45 GMT Leicester City v Watford May 4 11:45 GMT Watford v Leeds United Cheers !!
Mar 29 Watford v Burnley April 26 Leicester City v Watford May 4 Watford v Leeds..... Match thread up for grabs as, unfortunately, I won't be able to write them. Don't be shy now...
If nobody else can step up I will have a go at Watford v Burnley - but warn everyone that I have not done one before and am useless at getting attachment / pictures etc so if there is anyone better qualified please allow me to step aside
I promised I'd do some match threads this season but haven't really got round to it due to work/life/etc... I hereby commit to doing some next season. I'll make a template this summer that I'll be happy to share. If anyone wants a HTML lesson or 2 just ask Cheers to everyone that has been putting the effort in so far!
Ditto - will hold you to that. I expect to have some time on my hands next season - am in line to undergo knee replacement surgery on both knees and will doubtless be looking for something to do.
Forgive me for sticking my beak in here, but as your game against Leicester could be deemed as 'important', would it be out of order for me to volunteer my services to do that thread for you? It might be different for a neuteral to do it I totally understand if you prefer to have one of your own do your own matchthreads.
That sounds difficult BB. My six weeks in plaster made me thankful that I could hop to the loo on the good leg with the aid of crutches. A friend out here had two hip replacements 10 weeks apart so that she could get some movement between operations. Hope it all goes well for you. My friend is so much better, but the hospital here said she should not have suffered for 25 years as she had in England.
To be honest BB, it really isn't that tricky once you have a template that makes some sort of sense. It just involves copy/pasting and adding some personal touches. I'm planning on 'borrowing' bits of other threads I like, and adding/changing anything will be pretty straightforward. We'll chat about it another time. If anyone else is interested please feel free to ask?
word of advice BB have a serious amount of pain killing booze to hand ,I saw the pain my wife went through and she only had one new knee ( go for the Oxinium knees) they are a lot harder wearing
Thanks Toby, that'd be great. I don't think everyone has HTML capabilities here so if you want it, i'll be sure to make sure you get it No problem, i'll do Burnley repped Good luck with that BB! That sounds like a fab idea! Rep for Norway too
The Burnley match thread is written..i'll post it early next week Saxet, i believe that leaves Leeds!
