Over the last six games the Hornets have a 2:1 advantage with four wins to two. On the other hand Watford find visiting Leicestershire a very bad experience with only two wins in the last 10 years.
Thanks ak, you just beat me to it. Apart from this thread you can keep in touch with the game with BBC3CR if you are within their area, Hornet Player with Jon Marks, and as the game is being shown live outside of the UK there should be a stream.
Going to be very tough and it seems their fans still want revenge after last season but its the sort of game we get something to get everyone excited...before losing the next. No doubt Kevin Phillips, David Nugent or that French guy will score..
Cheers AK and OFH for the match threads recently, unfortunately, I won't have much time to do them now as travelling to different places for worka bit more. I'd take a 0-0 here. Doubt it'll be that scoreline though...
Nice thread Right, in terms of our starting XI for tomorrow... Schmiechel De Laet Wasilewski Morgan Koncheskey Knockaert James Drinkwater Dyer Nugent Vardy However, there have been a few questions raised over Lloyd's availability as a starter. He's looked a little leggy of late and reportedly finished Thursday's training session early with a precautionary knock. If he were to be rested then I imagine Riyad Mahrez will take his place. Imagine Lloyd's pace with Knockaert's trickery. We're excited about him. I'm led to believe this is being shown live in America so I imagine there will be a live stream for those who (rightfully) refuse to pay the frankly extraordinary prices we're demanding for the game tomorrow. I can only say i'm glad that Almen Abdi will be missing from the game again. He's a fantastic footballer and one of the reasons you've not been as successful this season. One player I was intrigued to see you sign was Merkel. I know he was sent off on his debut, but how has he been for you? He's quite a talent is he not? The signing of Daniel Tozser is also a signing I admired. I hope we don't allow any close range freekicks How will you be lining up?
Both Merkel and Tozser looked pretty good last week and I hope we compete this time against you guys. Sadly losing Abdi along with Vydra's goals plus some rather indifferent signings is why we're not doing that well compared to last season. Whereas you've had a settled side and added well plus Pearson is a decent manager - glad in a way you stuck by him. Its the main game on the FLS so Manish and Claridge will be hoping you win I guess.. Shameful thing is £32 for a ticket will look quite cheap in the Premier league! Probably the same as last week unless there are any injuries we don't know about: Alumina Ekstrand Hall Angella Anya Merkel Tozser Battocchio Casseti Deeney Forestieri
Like the sound of the potential link, I'll be at home to watch it, if so. 9am start for me then... AKCJ. No Idea how GS will line us up to be fiar. but hopefully we'll give you a run for your money...
I'm just hoping for a game nearly as entertaining as that game we had last season Hopefully with a little less Leicester heart break
Last week I reported that my local team won at home 2-0 and Watford followed up two days later with a 2-0 home win. Tonight I can report that Chateauroux were away from home tonight and won again 1-4. Would have gone to support them but Corsica is a long way from here and the sea might have been rather choppy.
1-4 would be pretty amazing but you know its the sort of thing we do to get everyone going before losing at home to Birmingham..
Would expect, and would rather, see Murray in there instead of Cassetti - I suspect we'll find his youthful stamina more useful than Cassetti's guile. I guess it would be foolish to drop either Deeney or Forestieri tomorrow, but I wonder when Park and Ranegie will get a look in?
I would be worried about Cassetti's lack of pace too. Think we might be quite defensive though. Pretty sure Sannino will keep the front 2 together - done quite well TBF.
Murray for Cassetti for me as well. And you have to like AKCJ's signature GIF as well - that is just class.
I work with Leicester fans and when the fixture comes around we always say 'big game'. This time it obviously is a big game for them, but isn't really for us. Maybe the relative lack of pressure can help us...having said that, sorry, but I think we'll lose today. 3-1.
All the new guys to play a part today I reckon...Park, the Big Bloke from QPR & Ranagie as subs...1-1
