After a much needed 3 points at the Bridge after a lacklustre performance from our guys, can we overcome our West London counterparts on their own turf? I predict a draw, I can't see past that due to how tired some of our lads will be and especially since they'll all probably have their mind on Sunday! Spurs dropped two points at Sunderland and we hope City can do us a favour tomorrow so hopefully this will be a major incentive for them to pick up their performances! Here are both teams' form at the moment: Fulham: Aston Villa - L Swansea - L Man United - L Norwich - W Bolton - W Chelsea: Tottenham - D Benfica - W Aston Villa - W Benfica - W Wigan - W The main dilemma for both teams will be who to play after just playing on the Saturday, Fulham just played a very strong squad against Bolton and will probably need to play most of the team that played today whereas we have the bonus of being able to rotate today's winning side and replace them with equally strong fresher players. My Predicted Chelsea line up is; please log in to view this image I think Robbie will field this team, I personally would give Mata a much needed rest to avoid fatigue for Spurs next Sunday! Stick Ramires in the middle and Lamps where Mata usually plays. I also would not play Bosingwa or Ivanovic and as CFCTEL has said I'd give Ferreira a go. I've invited the Fulham fans who congregate on here to come over for a bit of pre-game banter so if one of them sees this could you give me a predicted line up and I'll stick it on here Play nicely and KTBFFH, Come on Chelsea!
Couldn't make the file bigger so - cech Ferreira Cahill Luis Bertrand Piazon Essien Lampard Sturridge Torres Kalou
Fulham are good at home because it's a small pitch! I think it'll be a hard game but Chelsea are getting back to winning even when they don'y deserve to which is a good sign. Not sure how well Chelsea play on small pitches? our lot really struggle on them!
little club little pitch but their biggest game of the season, be lucky for a point, a win would be a massive result.
I was more confident about beating Fulham than Wigan. I think we'll do the business but I think it will have to be a 1-0 or 2-0 job. If we concede I can't see us winning as I don't see us scoring more than a goal (or two)
We rested the top squad today! They must all turn out for Fulham! Cech, Ivan: Luiz:Terry:Cole:Ramires:Mireiles:Lamps:Mata:Torres:Malouda!
I hope we take this one seriously! Fulham, historically have always been very, very generous to us , but I'm after our last 2 shows I'm bovvered!!! We have to look one hell of a lot sharper to win at the Cottage!
Agreed blue, I love trips to the cottage. My train leaves at 10:25 so a long day tomorrow, not feeling too confident after Saturday but we'll have some key lads back in the squad . Can't believe Arsenal beat City, bet they've been so ****ing cocky.
Forgive the me interceding (Drogs, you forgot to add us in the thread!)..... Should be a good match tonight, with both teams have picked-up in the last 10 games. Our concerns are whether Murphy and The Pog start. 2-1 either way. Hopefully no silly refereeing decisions influencing the outcome unduly. C O Y W
Drogs -Spot on! For the first time this year I prayed for an MC victory! Any points lost by Spuds,Gooners and Geordies keeps our hopes alive!
