Man Utd drop points today after losing to Swansea and this is a big opportunity for all clubs, West Ham are still close so lets not forget that and with the tactical genius of Big Sam behind them anything is possible. Southampton are having a great season and with Wanayama and Shneiderlin in the middle of the park they are always going to hard to break down. 1st person to reply to the thread is a twat. Lets have it y'****ers.
I'm a twat anyway, so I'll go first. Two big games and the European ties midweek might influence both. West Ham will be looking to hit back after their horrific performance against the Baggies and we've got two big games in the following week. Bit of spite about the other game too, after Liverpool's transfer raids on the Saints. Should be interesting.
Agree with everything in your comment I think Spurs and Liverpool spent a lot of energy in midweek, with Spurs fortunate to limit Fiorentina to just the one away goal. Also as you mention West Ham will want to bounce back after gettting hammered by West Brom. Should be a couple of tasty games.
West Ham beat the Spuds 3 times last season, after they lost to them earlier in the season, West Ham will be wanting to re-instate the status quo and assert their authority over the Spuds once again.
Match day!! Can't remember the last time I wanted to win a match as much as I do today, who'd have thought back in August we'd be going into this game 3 points above Liverpool and knowing a win will take us 3rd First time in my lifetime that we're favourites for a game against Liverpool as well. If we do win top 4 over for Liverpool?? Reckon Spurs game should be interesting too, if they don't score early can see them struggling to break West Ham down. Nice thread btw luv
Didn't deserve anything out of that game, but we managed to nick something. Rubbish performance. Need to improve drastically over the next 7 days. Credit to Fat Sam, though. He got his initial plan spot on. Not sure about his subs, though.
Fat Sam loves playing the Spuds. You got out of jail big time thanks to Song's stupid foul. Kane almost managed to bottle it at the end though.
Whereas you robbed Palace with an offside goal and a penalty that should've been a free-kick. We've played two of the better sides in the division since we made your lot look utter ****. You're back to acting like you're going to win the league again because you've beaten Leicester and were given the game yesterday. Standard.
They probably should have gone 0-3 up towards the end of that match, but a scuffed shot from Rose and a lucky tap in from the rebound saved the Spuds, but it's still 2 points dropped.
I'd like to see a draw in that game, but if you win you'll leapfrog the Spuds, leaving HIAGs North London power shift Spuds down in 7th
