Match Thread: Chelsea vs Tottenham - FA Cup Semi Final

This Sunday we face our London rivals Tottenham in what should be a fantastic FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley as we look to reach our 11th FA Cup final and 7th FA Cup trophy.

After a positive few weeks under Di Matteo we have notched up 8 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, reaching both Champions League and FA Cup semi finals and closing the gap on Tottenham to just two points. Tottenham have been quite the opposite in this amount of time getting themselves just 3 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses which should be a decisive factor in terms of confidence for the game this Sunday

We are without Branislav Ivanovic in this game due to his 3 match ban for violent conduct against Wigan.

Robbie will no doubt have one eye on Wednesday against Barcelona and will probably chose to rest key players such as Lamps, Kalou, Drogba and Ramires for that.

I predict this one will go to extra time (just our luck with the game on Wednesday ). 1-1 for me!

And before you say it's only the Carling Cup, it's still silverware, and it's the one we all went mad for when JM won it...

We were focussed on the league and European Cup that season.

Sounds awful and arrogant, but I did not even bother going to the Carling final and only watched the second half of the match.
